The Library of Alexandria

This article about the youth in Egypt banding together to protect the library, among other important things, makes my heart soar. I am so thrilled that these young people are standing up for what they believe in and protecting places of learning and community and history. I am not trying to weigh in on the political unrest going on in Egypt, because quite honestly I've been preoccupied with goings on at work and I haven't been paying close attention to what's going on. But I am glad that they're not destroying the libraries. :)
